Frequently Asked Questions
Learn more about StethoWellCare and our goal of connecting
individuals and families with convenient, affordable telehealth services.
What is StethoWellCare?
StethoWellCare is a developing telehealth company designed to
connect individuals and families with convenient, affordable virtual
healthcare services. We are currently gathering interest and will
announce provider availability, service areas, pricing and appointment
options as they are finalized.
Is StethoWellCare currently accepting patients?
Not yet. The current website form is an interest form, not a patient
registration or appointment form. Submitting it allows us to contact
you with updates as services become available.
How will StethoWellCare telehealth services work?
Once services launch, eligible patients will be able to request or
schedule a virtual visit with a participating licensed healthcare
provider. The provider will determine whether telehealth is
appropriate and explain any recommended next steps.
What types of care may be available through telehealth?
Planned services may include virtual primary care, non-emergency
health concerns, wellness consultations, blood pressure support,
chronic-condition follow-up, prescription assistance and other
appropriate services. Exact services will depend on provider
availability, licensing and clinical appropriateness.
How do I join the interest list?
Complete the interest form on the StethoWellCare homepage. We request
your name, contact information, general location, service interests,
preferred contact method and best time to reach you.
Does joining the interest list guarantee services?
No. Submitting the form records your interest but does not guarantee
eligibility, availability, an appointment or acceptance as a patient.
How much will StethoWellCare services cost?
Pricing has not been finalized. Our goal is to make healthcare options
clear and affordable. Prices, membership options and payment methods
will be announced before services begin.
Will StethoWellCare accept health insurance?
Insurance participation has not been finalized. StethoWellCare may
offer self-pay, membership, insurance or partner-based options,
depending on the service.
Can a telehealth provider prescribe medication?
A participating licensed provider may prescribe medication when it is
medically appropriate and legally permitted. A prescription is not
guaranteed, and some medications or health concerns may require an
in-person evaluation.
What areas will StethoWellCare serve?
Service areas have not been finalized. City, state and ZIP code
information from the interest form helps us identify communities with
the greatest demand.
Can telehealth replace every in-person medical visit?
No. Telehealth can help with many non-emergency concerns, but it cannot
replace every physical examination, laboratory test, imaging service,
procedure or emergency evaluation. A provider may recommend in-person
care when appropriate.
What technology will I need for a virtual visit?
Patients will generally need a smartphone, tablet or computer with a
reliable internet connection, camera, microphone and private location.
Final technical requirements will be provided when appointments become
available.
Should I submit medical information through the interest form?
No. Do not submit diagnoses, symptoms, medications, medical records,
Social Security numbers, insurance identification numbers, financial
information or other sensitive medical information through the
interest form.
Does the interest form create a patient-provider relationship?
No. Submitting the form does not create a patient-provider relationship
and does not constitute medical advice, diagnosis, treatment or an
appointment.
What should I do during a medical emergency?
Do not use the StethoWellCare website or interest form for emergencies.
Call 911 or seek immediate medical assistance.
